Can you really make money instantly doing online surveys from the uk?

i would love a bit of home income, but everything looks dodgy, wants to charge me, or is not applicable because im not in the states...

anyone had any joy?

Can you really make money instantly doing online surveys from the uk?
Generally you don't make money instantly, the money will come through within a month, I am a member of 'ciao' and have done many surveys, you will be invited to quite a lot but only get to do around 30% of them as you don't always match their criteria.

I haven't been signed up very long and made nearly £15, which isn't so bad for five minutes work, there are other sites such as 'valued opinions' (or something on those lines) which are similar but offer rewards in vouchers.

I wouldn't sign up to anything that asks you to pay before you start, I've seen them before and they are generally scams...avoid them!

You won't make much from doing online surveys, but there is money to be made, I'm also signed up to another site which sends you a cheque for £50 once you have done enough surveys 'yougov' I think it is...

The key to doing surveys is to lie...if it asks you if you have children and you don't, say you have 2...sounds strange but if it means you match their criteria, and can complete the survey, you make some money!

Good luck, don't get scammed! :-) If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
Reply:Ciao.co.uk do online surveys, but you get very little money, half of them are annoying, and you can only get your money after you've earned over £5. But yes, you will get paid for doing surveys, it just swallows up time. A typical survey can earn you between 60p and £1.50. This is for answering surveys that can take up to 45 minutes to complete. It's a good way to earn a bit, but I quite frankly don't have the time (I do 1 out of about 30 they send me)
Reply:i doubt it.
Reply:not really..best off doing online work. ie trafficking people to peoples site to earn a commission, i earn £80 a day just by sending a few people to a few sites
Reply:There are some that are good but they take ages to build up money.

I have had £50 from yougov, £20 from tns, but this is over a year.
Reply:I got £15 from Ciao at Xmas, but I'd been doing it for about 18 months. It can happen but the return isn't great.
Reply:Yeha you can!! I have a few on my profile!!
Reply:i have yet to find one. I have joined many - BUT, after long hours of form filling you are placed on a list, with a "winner" being chosen at random. Beware also of the scam which requires you to write an essay on a particular subject. After submisssion, ou hear nothing...........BUT.......... after a few weeks your essay appears under someone elses name (for which they get paid). Before joining any such scheme, visit

www.ihavebeenscammed.com Brilliant site - you can read about the current SCAMS and also post your own experiences.

GOOD LUCK. ENJOY LIFE, without the scammers.
Reply:I registered with yougov, full of anticipation of fat cheques but they only pay 50p a survey. http://www.yougov.com/users/registration...

Some of the surveys don't pay at all but put your name in a hat for a prize draw.
Reply:probably not, most of these don't guaratee any money, they only "put you in a drawing for a cash prize." yeah right, don't do it, they're worthless.
