What is your impression of the polls & surveys catagory?

it used to be, many months ago, just asking a poll or survey question got you a violation. now, its acceptable. i personally love this catagory.

What is your impression of the polls %26amp; surveys catagory?
It sends a mixed message to the community. I never really saw anything wrong with polling questions but after my old account was suspended for too many violations, I kind of saw it as a slap in the face when they introduced a new category for the kind of questions they kicked me out for.

Reply:This is my second fav. Tennis is the first but not many questions there.
Reply:Lots of noise, few useful stuff.
Reply:It's hard to find. I was looking under Society %26amp; Culture, Social Sciences, Education %26amp; Reference .... Entertainment is not the most useful place for it. It could be a very interesting category.
Reply:It is interesting for me to check it out, but i would have a hard time picking a best answer. I admit I would be prejudiced and choose the one that agreed with me.
Reply:honestly, i used to just visit culture and groups all the time, but it was always some stupid question or racist question and not so friendly people so i decided to look through the jokes/riddles but that became boring because not every joke was funny i then came upon poll/surveys and the people seem really nice and the questions are not that stupid/racist. i have gotten emails from individuals in this category complimenting me on my name and the answer that i gave before they placed a vote. I personally love this section as well!!!!!

Reply:Its a very cool place. You just put on a question as a survey, and from the responses you can actually get such a lot of personal information, you can find out the personality of a individual almost 100 %
