In all honesty, if this were my shield, I don't think anything I didn't want would get through...





I feel as though my love is one of my few strong points...

My shield of love is strong, but it has weak spots... I have proven this time %26amp; time again... The next time something breaks-in, a volley of arrows will welcome them...

Reply:Well but it's not. Love is an amazing emotion but so is sadness. Society keeps telling everyone - 'you need to be happy! Be grateful for what you have an embrace life!' Yes, embrace life! But don't forget and be ashamed of feeling otherwise. And a 'barrier' from what? You're so in love that your head is in the clouds you can't see what is truly going on in this world - kids dying from diarrhea because they can't afford Pepto Bismol and brilliant people becoming waitresses because they can't afford to go to college..... I hope that love would not be a 'barrier' but more of an emotion that will make me realize how much change there needs to be.





Sorry for the political rant. I really am a romantic, and I think its wonderful that you think love is your strong point!
Reply:My love is a shield, however it is a protective one only, not closing me off to the world or reality. The only thing it would truly protect is the part of my heart and soul that belong to you. The worlds woes, and life itself would still be allowed to penetrate it, however my love for you is impenetrable!

Reply:I have lots of love to give and it is very strong....but my shield is very strong.....it is hard for someone to break through i have to keep this heart protected......but in a way it feels it has no shield ..i have a soft spot for everyone.....but not everyone knows this soft spot...
Reply:I no longer feel the need to be protected from the world and it's perils and heartbreak. Love is my motivation, my joy and even my sorrow but never my shield.
Reply:No!!! I consider myself to be a compassionate and caring person...it sets me apart from the other girls out there.





I will stand against the storm to protect love! To me, it is a valuable possession that we shouldn't take for granted! : )
Reply:I hate to admit it. But that's a weak point for me. I don't really believe in love like i use to. So the shield would be weak.
