Survey: can unconditional love overcome all?
If one can have unconditional love, it means that one has


overcome the ego. And then, there remains nothing else to be overcome.
Reply:If everyone on the planet practiced unconditional love, the world would certainly be a better place, however, you practice unconditional love and you are the one that benefits the most. The one element that is missing when you love unconditionally is "judging", and that is a good thing! Judge not, lest ye be judged.
Reply:that's what unconditional love is all about...UNCONDITIONAL LOVE...if everyone had no conditions for them to love then everyone would be loved, and if everyone is loved and accepted then how can their be wars?...it's idealistic and will never happen, but yes, unconditional love would overcome all...that is if by 'all' you mean the obstacles to peace.
Reply:I believe G-d's is unconditional to all, even to Pagan or non believers since they are all the "work of His hands". IN this one can have hope of that kind of love overcoming all. But on earth I have never found anyone who actually can give another person unconditional love, there are always loop holes.
Reply:suppose really depends on what they did, if they verbally or physically abuse you etc then no - you should get out of relationship. other than that i think unconditional love will overcome most other things if not then it not really unconditional.

They do love a person, even if abused.


It is a rare event by humans tho, but if such love is, then it will overcome anything
Reply:Overcome in what way? It certainly can't overcome most forms of impending death (cancer, alzheimers, etc.)
