Whats the point of Polls and Surveys?

Dont get me wrong, I Love Polls and Surveys. But, most of our answers to each question will change over time. The point is to find out what everyones opinion is, so should we be able to re-ask a question after a few months or a year?

Reply:you should be able to ask a question as many times as you want to I think... The point of this whole Answers thing is for people that dont have anything better to do. I have been on Christmas break and I just discovered this whole thing before my break and I am really glad I did cause it has been my entertainment for almost the whole time.

Reply:I think polls and surveys is a good way to get many different opinions on some particular subject. One can analyze a subject to death and need something fresh...hence polls and surveys. Some may seem ridiculous, but hey, it's all in fun. For instance, how many people think your handle: Joshrocks is cool? Count me for one.

"Polls"....? How can you NOT be able to respond to a poll? It's like shooting FISH in a BARRELL.





"Surveys".... A Survey? A survey is a "gathering of information relative to a particular topic..." How can you not appreciate EVERY answer to a survey?

Reply:re-asking sounds like a good idea, alot of my opinions change over a few months so I think it would be cool if the question was asked every month or so.

Yes, we should be able to re-ask a question here, and I have done it on a few occasions much to my own surprise!
