Survey: If love is natural why do people have to "work" on relationships?
Love is natural and spontaneous for a particular person for a particular time. When that time is gone, love shifts its focus. Love is dependent on many parameters, whose values change with time. These parameters are emotional weakness, physical needs, preference of mental makeup, colour, height, smell, cuisine preference and maybe a million more. Our brain calculates all these parameters in seconds and decides whether you love that person or not. But this is true for a few minutes or maybe a few hours. After that the values of these parameters change and you have to work on the relationship.

I dearly love the Mother of our children, and would do almost anything to maintain our relationship.


BUT.





We can still have an argument over the best way to make gravy, the best way of starting a log fire, farting in public, etc.





It is what the world is made of, and without a bit of condradiction now %26amp; then, life would be dull.





So we "work" together on stuff, and uphill work it can be sometimes !
