Question about saying "i love you"?

me %26amp; my boyfriend have been going out for a month, and we say i love you alot, and we mean it. we love each other. but the other day on myspace he did a love survey thing ya know? and it said "are you in love?" and he said "no, im in likee lol" but he says he loves me but on the survey he said hes never been IN love.





if you say to your other i love you, doesn't that mean your in love? now im confused about himm %26gt;:l

Teenagers say 'I love you' more than anybody I know. They have a way of just throwing it around without really caring. I hate to say it but I doubt the two of you are in love after a month. You both probably really, really like each other, which at times may feel like love, but it's not. Either that or you're both just very obsessed with the idea of love and therefore feel that you have to say it all the time.





I think you two do just really like each other. Love will come later, but not now. And just because you say it to each other doesn't mean it's real. I've seen it tossed around without meaning a thousand times and admit I've even done it in the past just because I could. Saying it doesn't necessarily mean it.
Reply:i took that survey too its all over myspacee! anywho i am not sure about ur bf doing that to u. if he says it to u when its just u and him. he isnt able to say it infront of ppl he knos i think u should confront him. tell him how it makes u feel if he is a good bf he will listen and explain himself. if he doesnt talk then dump his sorry a.s.s ur worth alot better than that!
Reply:First of all myspace is stupid. Second if he is saying it to you then thats all that matters. Just make sure he actually means it
Reply:You should talk to him about what it means when you both say you love each other, that way you will know whats going on. I personally put a lot of weight on the term "I love you" and dont say it lightly...but other people say it without much thought. You and your boyfriend probably do love each other, but there is a big different between caring for someone (loving them) and being IN love with someone.
