Do you think Yahoo meant for the Polls and Surveys section to the love-fest it is?
I doubt they did. But I'm glad it worked out!
Reply:I think they wanted a section for all the misfits who had no other category to go to, so they created polls and surveys. And all other categorys are boring to me because of it.

Reply:I think they hoped for this, and are trying to catch up on the bbs's wave hype they were left out of until now, one big proof of that is the points system
they probably saw youtubes or bloggers comments as an untapped market segment to appeal to
